- Device information (device model, OS version, browser type)
- IP address and approximate location
- Usage data (pages visited, features used, session duration)
- Rider GPS location data during active delivery sessions

- Process and fulfil orders between customers, restaurants, and riders
- Verify identity and prevent fraud
- Send order status notifications via SMS and in-app alerts

4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in these circumstances:
- Between platform users: Customer name and delivery address are shared with the assigned restaurant and rider to fulfil the order.
- Payment processing: UPI payment details are managed directly between users and their banks. HungryNow does not process card or bank transactions.
- Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting (AWS/DigitalOcean), email, and SMS notifications. They process data only on our behalf.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data when required by Indian law, court order, or government authority.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Order records are retained for 7 years for compliance with Indian tax laws. You may request deletion of your account and associated data; however, we may retain data required by law.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and role-based access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations)
